Standing Up for Equality
We work to dismantle systemic barriers and create pathways to dignity, equity, and opportunity for all.
About us
Advocacy That Builds Unity
The Civil Rights Division of Mercy Foundation stands as a voice for the unheard and a bridge for those seeking justice. We believe that true progress begins when communities are empowered to speak, act, and heal together.
Our work focuses on breaking cycles of inequality in education, housing, employment, and civic engagement. Through legislative advocacy, awareness campaigns, and grassroots organizing, we confront the systems that hold people back and build solutions that move everyone forward.
Meet Our Leaders
Dr. V. Issa White

As the Founder and Executive Director of the Mercy Foundation's Civil Rights Division, Dr. White brings decades of experience in political science, theology, and community leadership.
